Preparation
Riz Tablet: Each film-coated tablet contains Cetirizine Dihydrochloride BP 10 mg.
Riz Syrup: Each teaspoonful (5 ml) syrup contains Cetirizine Dihydrochloride BP 5 mg.
Riz Syrup: Each teaspoonful (5 ml) syrup contains Cetirizine Dihydrochloride BP 5 mg.

Indications
Riz (Cetirizine) is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis and conjunctivitis, perennial allergic rhinitis, pruritus and urticaria of allergic origin.
Dosage & Administration
Riz Tablet: Adults and children over 6 years:
1 tablet (10 mg) daily or ½ tablet (5 mg) twice daily.
Children (1-6 years):
½ tablet (5 mg) daily or ¼ tablet (2.5 mg) twice daily.
Riz Syrup: Adults and children over 6 years:
2 teaspoonful once daily or 1 teaspoonful twice daily.
Children (1-6 years):
1 teaspoonful daily or ½ teaspoonful twice daily.
Contraindications
Riz (Cetirizine) is contraindicated in patients who have shown hypersensitivity to it or its parent compound, hydroxyzine.
